Brendan McNamara

Brendan McNamara, Director of Development & Construction, joined Argonaut Investments in 2019, where he leads the firm’s development, redevelopment, tenant improvement, and capital improvement initiatives across a portfolio of more than 4 million square feet. Brendan has overseen the successful execution of projects from acquisition and lease commencement through design, entitlement, construction, and occupancy. With extensive experience managing complex projects across multiple jurisdictions, Brendan is focused on delivering high-quality developments that enhance asset value, support long-term investment objectives, and drive operational excellence.

Prior to joining Argonaut, Brendan was with Harvest Properties, where he managed tenant improvement and redevelopment projects across a portfolio exceeding one million square feet of Class A commercial real estate. He was responsible for project planning and budgeting, consultant and contractor management, construction oversight, and the execution of value-add initiatives that improved asset performance and long-term value.

Earlier in his career, Brendan managed capital improvement projects for DCT Industrial’s 4.6 million-square-foot Northern California industrial portfolio, further developing his expertise in large-scale commercial real estate operations and construction management.

Brendan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and is a United States Coast Guard veteran. He also holds a Construction Project Management Certificate from Columbia University, further strengthening his expertise in the planning and execution of complex real estate projects. Brendan resides in Marin County, California, with his wife and two sons.
